Morning friends.

Shall we pray.

Dear God. Sometimes we do not say "I love you" often enough. Too frequently we simply go about our day without sharing the passion of the heart. The words are not hard to say but we hold back our expression of love. We do love You and know You love us. Do we assume You know our heart, or is it that we feel inadequate or do we simply not take the time. Nevertheless, we wish to reach out in compassion and praise to the one we love. Know we love You as we go about our day. Let us show You our love as we diligently work toward the goals set before us. Please see the love in our families as we build memories together. See our love for You in the joy upon our face. Lord, we do love You. In Jesus Christ's name. Amen.

Love is seen in the eyes and motivated by the heart.

Morning friends.

Shall we pray.

Dear God. Help us to know Your ways. Or Lord, at least grant us the assurance of Your wisdom and power in our day. We feel the sunshine on our face, but sometimes we hold a raging storm in our hearts. Show us Your ways, show us the path. Dear Heavenly Father, light the way in the darkness to help us. We are frightened and need You with us. You promise to go before us in all we do. Help us to see You reaching back with Your open hand. Calm the storms of our heart so we might find our way. We are Your children, protect and guide us this day. In Jesus Christ's name. Amen.

Being on a path suggests you are going somewhere. Enjoy the journey.

Good Morning,

Shall we pray.

Dear God. Grant in us this day humility to lay our burdens at Your feet. Give us the courage to trust in You. Help us as we strive to make our ways, Your ways. Find in us our needs. Through it all, sometimes we struggle to express or even understand where we need You. What direction, where to pain is, how to move forward, why do I hurt? Give us clarity and focus. Talk to us along the journey, we need to hear Your voice. In Jesus Christ's name. Amen.

With God by your side, you always have someone to lean on.

Good Morning,

Shall we pray.

Dear Heavenly Father. As we enter the next few days, many thoughts run through our minds. Some of sorrow and of grief, some of anger and revenge and some of some of comradery and reverence. The world we live in can be painful and joyful at the same time. In times of turmoil and strife, life can be so confusing. We are vulnerable to Your leadings. We ask "why" as we cast our burdens at Your feet. We inquire "what for" as we move out in Your name. We cry out "how" as we stand where others fall down. We are weak, but we are made strong by Your power and grace. Lord, give us the assurance of things we cannot see. Grant us the courage to face the fears of the day. Plant our feet upon the rock of your salvation so we might shout Your praises. Push us to our knees in humble prayer. Be with each one. In Jesus Christ's name. Amen.

Prayer is a very personal thing between you and God. It's time to get personal.

Good family,

Shall we pray.

Dear God. We give thanks for the servant's heart. Many in this world who give of themselves for the betterment of others go about their day as any other. They do not give with reward in mind, they simply give. For these folks, we give thanks. Whether they make ready their day by pulling on their boots, or positioning their cap, or wake their families, or firing up their computer, or create the list of those in their charge, or just simply make their minds ready for challenges of the day, they are all servants. It is so evident You have prepared them for this greater calling, one of servanthood. You have called out and the servant's heart has answered. Bless Your servants. Give them strength to stand where others dare not go. Give them humility as they find the eyes of those they serve. Find them Lord, and bless them, each one. Dear God, let us be mindful as we go about our day to look for servanthood in others. And God, help us to be servants for the building of Your kingdom. In Jesus Christ's name. Amen.

Do you have a servants heart? Thank you for your efforts.

Good Morning,

Shall we pray.

Dear God. This morning we pray for peace. We would admit we do not fully understand peace but we seek it. While You are a mighty and mysterious God, we know You are just and gentle in Your ways. We need a peace that passes all understanding in our life, but this morning we pray for a peace we know to from You. Give us a peace that smooths the wrinkles of a frown and soothes the pains of worry. Give us peace so we might rest and heal. Grant us a peace that helps us find focus in our lives and Your presence in out lives. Lord, we pray for even a piece of peace where we see You in the moment. Let us know Your grace, hear Your footsteps and feel Your hand. In Jesus Christ's name. Amen.

We lift our eyes and find ourselves surrounded by the love of God.

Good Morning,

Shall we pray.

Dear Heavenly Father. This morning we thank You for placing in our lives people who make us better. Individuals who lift us to a higher plain. Thank You for those who are willing to talk to us in our times of confusion and worry. Thank You for the ones that pick up the other end of our load. Too often we do not express our gratitude for those in our life who encourage us with an unspoken nod, or a friendly smile or even just silently standing by our side. We each have special someones we hold dear. So God, thank You for sending people into our lives that make us stronger. In Jesus Christ's name. Amen.

Someone is thanking God for your presence in their life.

Good Morning,

Shall we pray.

Dear God. Today pause to say thanks as we search for those blessings we receive. As we struggle with the financial aspects of life, let us be thankful for warmth and a roof over our head. In the challenges of our work place let us find strength in a job well done. As we deal with the day to day life and stressors of family, let us rejoice in the comfort and unconditional love we find in those closest to us. And Lord, even as some lay in a hospital bed, help us embrace the glory of Your love and Your protective hand. Awaken in us a realization of Your presence and blessings in the midst of our struggles and pain. Thank You for life. Thank You for placing loved ones in our lives to bring spice to life. Bless us with strength as we support one another. Help us look beyond ourselves to understand the need of others. As we go about our day, we wish to carry Your love to others. Bless us, each one. In Jesus Christ's name. Amen.

Sometimes we need to hear from others what blessings exist in our lives.

Good Morning,

Shall we pray.

Dear God. Our lives are too often full of hustle and "what's next." We are in a place of busy and rush-rush. We are trying Lord. We are working. This morning we pray for each other, and even ourselves, so we might take a breath. A breath of Your peace. We know we cannot turn away from those things that require our attention, but help us look at each challenge through Your eyes. Help us see the joy, the love, the possibilities in the stressors of the day. Be with us Great Comforter. And give us a peace that does not make us sleep, but lifts our spirits and encourages us on. Father, You do know best. You know how to mix sweat with smiles. Grant us Your peace this day. In Jesus Christ's name. Amen.

What does the phrase "peace that passes understanding" mean to you?

Good Morning,

Shall we pray.

Dear God. Thank you. We give thanks to a giving Lord. As we focus on You, we realize we have been surrounded by Your grace and love. We thank You for our health. Even at our times of feeling fragile, we know You have given us the gift of life. We thank You for family and the closeness and safety we find there. We thank You for our country in which we can spread our wings of freedom. Thank You dear Father for our church and Your involvement with us. Too often we do not express our gratitude to our Creator and friend. For this, forgive us. We give thanks for every small thing that means so much in our lives. Thank You for chocolate cookies and big hugs from little people. For the amazement of an ant hill and for quiet time spent with You. Thank you for music and how it stirs the soul. Thank you for our congregation and the love shared there. In Jesus Christ's name. Amen.

Being thankful involves a realization of a fullness of .. well .. thanks.

Good Morning,

Shall we pray.

Dear God. Today we pray for smiles. Smiles as we go about our day. Help us see the joy in the scamper of squirrels in the trees. Even in our car, put a smile on our face as others pass by. Let us realize the smiles given to us by those we come in contact with today. We know there are still struggles as trials in our day and in our life, but with You by our side we can find joy. Father, lift those who are pressed down with burdens of the world. Fill them with Your Spirit and turn their eyes heavenward. We love you Mighty God and we do know You are present in our day. We will smile as we open our hearts to Your guidance. In Jesus Christ's name. Amen.

Spread God's love with a smile.

Good Morning,

Shall we pray.

Dear Lord, teach us to pray.

The Lord’s Prayer

(Luke 11:2-4)
9 Therefore after this manner shall ye pray, saying,
10 Our Father who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
11 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is done in heaven.
12 Give us this day, our daily bread.
13 And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
14 And suffer us not to be led into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
15 For thine is the kingdom and the power, and the glory, forever and ever. Amen.

Teach us to pray not only with our minds and our hearts, but teach us to pray with our actions and in our daily walk. With humility and love we pray in Jesus Christ's name. Amen.

It feels good to move closer to God.

Good Morning,

Shall we pray.

Dear Lord. We are in the world. Help us to not become part of the world that holds us back from you. It will be a busy day. Thank you for the business of life. It does feel good to accomplish goals set before us. Direct us back, when we stray from Your ways. Help us set goals for our day, for our year, for our lives. And help us focus as You journey with us. Today we know we will face trials. We may need to lean on You from time to time, so please don't step too far away from us. give us the courage to try and even to fail. We thank You Lord for being part of our day. In Jesus Christ's name. Amen.

Finding our way is easier with the Lord beside us.

Good morning family,

Shall we pray together.

Dear Lord. Where us the sun this morning? At this point of the day we cannot see the sun. But we know we will see it soon, we know it is coming. Father, we might not be able see You with our eyes, but as we anticipate a special day of fellowship and worship, we know we will find You there. Please bless us Lord as we prepare in our homes for a coming together of a group of Your children. Place love on our hearts as we go about the house this morning. Soften us as we wake our families for this day of joy. Talk to us as we journey to our house of worship. Overtake our spirit as we feel your Spirit in our church building. Sit next to us as we bless our little ones and as we lift new servant in Your work. Renew us, change us, love us. In Jesus Christ name. Amen.

I see the glow of the sun coming. I feel the glow of the Son coming.

Good Morning to you,

Shall we pray together.

Dear Lord. Today God we pray for a testimony. Help us open ourselves to the very moment You reveal Your mighty works. Let us notice the tiniest of items of our lives so we might see Your grand plan. Let us see You in all things. We know You are there. Please help us to see Your grace. As we feel the grass upon our feet, as we test our driving skills, as we go through out work day, as we place crayon to paper, as we go about our day, give us a testimony of Your presence in our lives. We look forward to seeing You in our day. In Jesus Christ name. Amen.

Praise God along the way.

Good Morning to you,

Shall we pray together.

Dear Lord. Help us to find You. We do know a piece of Your love and Your presence in our lives. But we want to know You more. We wish to know more of Your ways, of Your teachings, of Your goodness and grace. Help us to find You. Father, scratch our hearts once more so we might re-realize the continual involvement of the Holy Spirit in our lives. Search us out, keep calling our names one by one until we answer Your call. It is hard. Honesty hurts. In the midst of daily challenges, it is sometimes so hard to place You at the top of our "to-do" list. Help us to find You. Help us find You in all things. In the laughter and screams of recess, in our workplace and in our private times of solitude. Direct our eyes to Your word and let us see it with new eyes, new ears, new hearts. Thank You Almighty God for Your gift of presence. And we know ... You will be with us this day. In Jesus Christ's name. Amen.

Friends, truly open your eyes. And smile.

Good morning friends,

Shall we pray together.

Dear Lord. All are precious in Your sight, we know this. At this moment we lift up our children. As we think of times of sweet hugs and sticky fingers, help us in our meditation to pray for our children. Some of hold our children in our arms at this moment. Some of us place the care of our young ones of trained caregivers and teachers and mentors. Some of us think of our children in their daily lives as they forge through life as adults. And some of us even must think of our children standing by Your side this day. Gentle Lord, bless our children. While we would give our lives for them, they certainly have our hearts. Today let us not only be mindful of our children, but stir in us Your unconditional love and encourage us to mindfully pray for our children. God, care for and protect Your children. Bless them as them as they struggle. Let them see the beauty of this earth and Your involvement in it. Give them the testimony of the love of Jesus Christ and place it upon their tongues. Bless Your children. Bless us is our prayer. In Jesus Christ's name. Amen.

Brothers and sisters, have a wonderful day.

Morning Friends,

Shall we pray together.

Dear God. Soften our hearts Lord and help us find moments to pray for blessings for our friends. They are part of our lives and we are part of theirs. We cry with them and we smile with them. Some of our friends hurt today and some carry a frown upon their brow. We pray for our friends that might be feeling lonely and we pray for our friends who feel pushed down. Lord, lift our eyes so we might see those in need. Give us kind words as we travel with those we love. Help us respond with a Christ-like love. As we clasp hands lead us on our journey together. Bless each one is our prayer. Bless us. Bless our friends. Bless our friendship. We pray these things this morning in Jesus Christ's name. Amen.

My friends, have a great day.
